Condoléances
Kenneth Wirlen She will always be remembered. February 5, 2013

For those of us who grew up with her in Kumba and later on had the chance of meeting her again in St. Augustine`s college, Nso, we shall continue to remember her for her simplicity. She braved and put aside the glories of this earthly life and embrassed for evermore to share the love of God with all those who came across her. Inspired some of us to emulate the way of the Lord and even when we failed she never stopped encouraging us in whatever we are doing to praise the name of the Lord.
On Thursday December 27th 2012, I met her at the Bishop`s House in Soppo, in her typical sytle she greeted me with one of those "her smiles" and said, " Kenneth I di go me, I want go start prepare for my pikin dem  (Students) whe dem di come next week". I bid her farwell and she left. Little did I know that was our last meeting here on earth.
Sister Nkeng, your lessons on earth are numerous, we shall continue to do the good thing you thought us as we look forward to when we shall meet again to depart no more.
May your gentle soul rest in Perfect peace.
Callistus Fonjong The Best and Most Respected February 4, 2013

I am still in tears. It will be good to know why Sister Emmanuella Nkengasong Fomenky passed away so soon. The answer to this will teach us a lesson. I had an answer. But I am not too sure if that was God's reason. My answer is that God took Nkeng to teach us a lesson. Nkeng was the best person you could find around. Amongst her friends, she was the best person you could identify as a real friend. She was very respectful and was hugely respected by all (family members, friends, colleagues, classmates, etc, etc). Sister Nkeng was a perfect example of a nice sister and friend. All parents would love to have Nkeng as a child. But again, why did this happen to this simple, friendly, prayerful, young and respected lady? Nkeng, your legacy will remain forever and as a friend and a classmate, I will join forces to make sure that a Foundation is created in your name and on your behalf. My dream is that one day, you will be canonized as Saint Emmanuella Fomenky of Kumba Mbeng. I hope I shall be in the Vatican City when you will finally be beatified as a Saint. You will be the 1st Saint from Bangwa Village, from St Anthony. You will one day be remembered as a Saint that passed through Okoyong and St Augustine College. You were the pride of your entire family and now you will make them more proud when you will be known as St Emmanuella Fomenky. Kumba was proud of you and shall be more proud of you when that day will come. Bye bye Nkeng. Please Rest in Peace and pray for us.

Elizabeth Beseka-Nammeh Hard Shoes to Fill. February 3, 2013

Who am I to ask why? It is not mine to comprehend, but to believe and hope that we will meet again someday. Sister Nkeng set the bar too, but not high enough for us not to emulate. She led an exampleray life, even before she was called to be a nun. We will cry everytime her name is mentioned, but smile in our tears knowing how proud we are to have known her in very unique ways. My prayers are with you, the entire Fomenky family as you go through this period of heartbreak and grief.
Canisia Ebung Death BE Not Proud! February 3, 2013

Sister Nkeng,
Serving God wholeheartedly, honestly and happily is what you did during your life on earth. I do remember our lives in Fatima house, Okoyong and when we went to St. Therese as aspirants. You have been an inspiration to all the people you met through your pilgrimage on earth. You have accomplished what many would not accomplish even if they live for 130yrs. I am really really proud of you. According to me, you are aready canonized. At list i have assurance of your continuous smiling, encouragement and endurance in God`s right Hand. Rest in Peace dear.
Mildred Tembunde The Epitome of a True Christian February 3, 2013

Sis Nkeng was an Epitome of a true christian. We hope to emulate your examples. We miss you, we love you but you are better off where you are because, this place was not good enough for you. Amongst us all, you stood tall with your head held high. My heart goes out to the Fomenkys for this great loss; we'll keep you in our prayers and God will do the rest.

Carlin, Sly, Savanna & Kaelan Why you??? January 27, 2013

On New Year's Eve i prayed for a better year for us all. Imagine my shock receiving a phone call from Cameroun on tne 19th morning saying Nkeng has left us. It looks as if that better year was for Her and not for us all.

We always knew you are the blessed one and a salvation for us all we hoped the good Lord would leave you with us for longer. It looks as if he had other plans for you. WHAT IS IT? WE WOULD ALL LOVE TO KNOW. We all miss you so so much

No words can describe the sadness we felt when we heard Nkeng is dead.  How? when? where? how? Why?

Not ours to know the reason why, as to us you were an angel and God has decided to take you back.  So we give you back to God just as He gave you to us.

Our heart is aching, tears in our eyes, we want to tell everyone of your goodness and most important we want to tell you we love you and will miss you dreadfully.  We pray that your soul rest in perfect peace.  St Therese of the Child of Jesus, pray for us.
Rosemary Ekosso A life well lived January 27, 2013

I know where you are...you are where you were always going to be in the fullness of time. Though we are sad that you went there so soon, we know that you will be smiling on us from there.

We will draw inspiration from your life to make ours better. And so, although we are sad that you have left, your work is done and you did it well. You served as a beacon, drwaing people to goodness and abnegation.

Pray for us that we may seek to emulate you so that one day we shall be with you.
ROSE FONDONG ADIEU Rev January 24, 2013

Forever thoughtful of our special needs,
